Biography

At the age of five, Clara Busemann began taking harp lessons from her mother, Martina Busemann. From 2014 to 2017, she was a junior student at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf under Prof. Trani. After graduating from high school, she continued her studies there until 2020 with Fabiana Trani. In 2020, Clara Busemann transferred to the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, where she studied with Prof. Manuela Randlinger. In 2024, she successfully completed her Bachelor's degree. Since September 2024, she has been pursuing her Master's degree in Maastricht with Emily Hoile.

Clara Busemann is a prizewinner in both national and international competitions. From 2017 to 2020, she was a scholarship holder at 'Live Music Now Rhein-Ruhr,' and in 2019, she was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium.

In 2024, she completed a six-month internship with the Duisburg Philharmonic as a harpist, participating in symphonic concerts and opera productions.

Additionally, she has taken part in masterclasses with renowned harpists, including Fabrice Pierre, Marcella Carboni, Joel von Lerber, and Irina Zingg.
